• Served as a key contributor in the architecture and development of a kiosk-based animal shelter management platform using Flutter and Rust, supporting ~150 volunteers with a focus on accessibility for elderly and accessibility-focused users.
• Engineered a full-stack ticketing platform with Next.js and Rust, implementing role-based authorization, advanced search, filtering, and pagination.
• Designed and delivered RESTful APIs supporting authentication, ticket workflows, and high-performance data access.
• Reduced API latency and request overhead by batching asynchronous calls and optimizing SQL queries with indexing and caching.
• Designed and enforced end-to-end data validation and type-safe schemas, for ensuring consistency across frontend-backend interactions.
• Strengthened application security by integrating XSS mitigation and input sanitization, validated against external security test suites.
• Developed search and filtering for tickets with debounced inputs and URL state persistence, enabling shareable application states.
Softwarez at its Best • Junior Frontend Engineer
Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines · Hybrid• Developed multiple responsive websites with Gatsby/Material UI for React and Blazor / MudBlazor for .NET projects.
• Contributed frontend fixes and feature enhancements to production web applications by completing tickets and resolving issues from the GitHub board.
• Authored an 80-page documentation using Typst to outline front-end standards and streamline the onboarding process for new developers.
• Built custom components, including carousels and animated UI elements, implemented theming, and added dark/light mode.
• Enhanced website performance, accessibility, and SEO by implementing improvements identified through Google Lighthouse audits.
Softwarez at its Best • Frontend Engineer Intern
Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines · HybridDuring my internship as a frontend developer, I was tasked with studying blockchain technology, specifically the Cardano ecosystem, while also strengthening core skills in frontend development, the .NET Framework, networking concepts, and Bash scripting/WSL usage. This learning phase continued throughout the internship and prepared me for later integration of these concepts into development work as a junior frontend engineer.

OpenSFF promotes a vendor-neutral hardware standard focused on openness, serviceability, and long-term use. During my time with OpenSFF, I was a key contributor to the design and frontend development of its main website, while also helping build internal tools and being featured as a member of the OpenSFF Dev Team in several developer-focused blog posts.
Tekkio is an edge infrastructure platform built to simplify the deployment and management of distributed IT environments. During my time with Tekkio, I helped develop new features, build key sections of the main website including the blog, and contribute to internal tools and applications such as a support ticketing platform and kiosk-based animal shelter app, while also fixing API and UI issues across projects.
Sprinkla is a full-stack donut delivery system I built as a personal project to showcase my front-end and back-end development skills. This project gave me hands-on experience designing and building a complete full-stack application from UI/UX design to real-time backend logic and deployment.
Chimer is a full-stack, real-time chat application that allows every user to communicate with one another in a shared conversation. I developed it to deepen my understanding of production-grade deployments by hosting it on an AWS EC2 instance using Docker Compose, Nginx, PostgreSQL, and TLS-secured HTTPS with SSL certificate management, further enhancing my understanding of DevOps and infrastructure.
Teyvat Compendium is a mobile companion app for Genshin Impact that provides a centralized hub for character information, including ascension and talent materials, using the Genshin API. It helps players efficiently plan character progression with up-to-date data and features like favoriting characters for quick and personalized access.
